Since Greta is a little young to trick-or-treat, we had a pretty routine Halloween. We did have to dress her up, just because it seemed wrong not to! We stayed home on Halloween night and handed out candy. At first, we thought we were going to have a slow night, so we were handing each kid several pieces of candy. However, as the night progressed, more and more kids showed up. We started to worry that we would run out of candy. Scott decided that if we ran out of candy, we would try to pass off some French dark chocolate squares that we had in our kitchen as delicious candy to some unsuspecting children. Fortunately, we ended the night with 3 pieces. Those pieces have since disappeared into our mouths. Now, if we can only stay away from the discount Halloween candy at Walgreen's!
Here are two photos that my sister took of Greta in her hot dog costume when Greta was over there on Friday:

On Saturday, we were stoked to go visit Scott's family. Scott's brother, Jay, and his family were in town. We all went over to Scott's sister's house to visit. Everyone had a great time, and Jay and Dee Dee were having a lot of fun getting to know Greta!
Greta was very enamored with Uncle Jay's goatee.

The Minnesota Hartleys ended the night with haunted houses down in the West Bottoms. We weren't quite up for that! Too scary!
Greta really had fun at Aunt Kerri's on her first two days there. Here is a photo of the girls having a picnic. It looks like Greta and Rowan might be opting out of enjoying the delicious salads that Tatum and Tess are about to dig into!
Scott's time home with Greta starts tomorrow. Wish I could stay home with them, but that's not possible! I'm sure I'll update you on their time at home together soon!

We loved having her visit us! Honestly, I think the magic number is three...any children added after that really don't make the chaos any more intense! She's precious!
What a cute costume! She's looking so big!
